In the last 15 years we have seen a significant increase of
interest in agent-oriented technology. This field is now set
to become one of the key technologies in the 21st century and
will underpin much of the next generation of computing that
seeks to address issues in Ambient Intelligence, Pervasive and
Ubiquitous Computing, Grid Computing, Services Oriented Computing,
the Semantic Web, E-Commerce and many other areas. It is therefore
crucial that both academics and industrialists within Europe have
access to a forum at which current research and application issues
are presented and discussed.
The aim of this second European Workshop on Multi-Agent Systems
is to encourage and support activity in the research and
development of multi-agent systems, in academic and industrial
European efforts.
Event Program
The workshop will cover two days covering the pick of Agent Research carried out
in Europe in 2004 - include technical presentations, discussion sessions and we
are please to announce two excellent invited speakers:
The program will also cater for the lighter side with a welcome reception on
the eve of the conference (Wednesday 15th of December from 8pm) and a social
event after the first hard discussion (evening of 16th of December).
Registration will be available from 18.30pm on Wednesday 15th December at the
event venue. The final program can now be downloaded here:
The event will be held in the centre of Barcelona - with easy access to the
sea front and old town (plus of couse shopping opportunities for last
minute christmas gifts).
